Qeshm International Airport, one of the five special airports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, opened in 1997.
Qeshm Island with possessing lots of beautiful and rare attractions such as the largest salty cave in the world, Harra Jungles, Naaz Islands and the one and only International Geo-Park, this island has a great capacity to develop the tourism especially echo-tourism.
Constructing different types of hotels, villas, amusement and entertainment complexes, shopping centers, water and coastal sports equipment and facilities, playground for children, recreation jetties, using keelboats, aqua parks, amusement parks, carting, restaurants, coffee shops and parking can be mentioned from the current facilities of the tourism village planned.
